Q. How to
Bid?
A. You must have a valid eBay account to bid on this auction. If you do
not have an eBay account you may register for free by clicking on the
"Free eBay Account" link at the top of the page, or by visiting
eBay. If you are having trouble registering, need assistance, or are interested

Q. Is bidding
open internationally?
A. Yes- This auction is open to all bidders.
Q.How does
bidder pre-qualification work?
A. Auctionwire provides
a safe, confidential and secure process to qualify all bids on high value,
high profile auctions. When a qualification process is implemented all
bidders can be assured that they are only bidding against other legitimate
bidders. This protects all bidders from artificially inflated bid prices.
In order
to bid on the Virgin America auction items, all bidders are required to
pre-register. Registration requires a $250.00 USD deposit, to be made
in advance, using a PayPal account or using one of the following credit
cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Once you have completed
all the required information on the registration form, you will be directed
to complete the secure bidder registration process with PayPal. All transactions
will be processed through PayPal. All bidders who do not bid or
are not the highest bidder or win the auction item at will have their
credit card or PayPal deposit 100% refunded. Please note that
charges and refunds are processed US Dollars and any currency fluctuations
or loss due to such conversions are your responsibility and may be charged
by your bank or credit card issuer and not Auctionwire.
Q. Who is
Auctionwire and what do they have to do with the auction?
A. Auctionwire is an online auction management company that has been contracted
to conduct this eBay charity auction on behalf of the noted charity. This
charity has been reviewed by Auctionwire for its charitable status.
Q. I've won
the auction! What happens next?
A. A representative of Auctionwire will contact the winning bidder via
email or phone to congratulate him or her as well as confirm the payment
amount and payment instructions. Payment must be in US funds and received
within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Non US Passport holders will
be required to provide Passport information. Please note that if for any
reason you are not able to travel, fail security checks or are prohibited
from boarding the aircraft you waive all rights to any chargebacks. This
auction item is sold "As Is" and there are no refunds for any
unused ticket with the exception of those rights that may be provided
to you by the US Department of Transportation.
Q. Is there
sales tax?
A. No. Sales tax will not be charged.
Q. Is this
purchase tax deductible?
A. As you are receiving an item in exchange for your payment you will
not receive a tax receipt. Please consult your tax advisor for full information
and details.
Q. Will a
receipt be provided?
A. Yes, a receipt for the final bid amount paid will be provided by Auctionwire.
Q. What are
the accepted methods of payment?
A. We accept the following methods of payment: PayPal, Certified bank
check, cashier's check, cash, wire transfer or electronic Funds transfer.
PayPal is a fast and easy way to pay with either your checking account
or credit card. If you do not already have a PayPal account, please sign
up 4 days prior to auction end as it takes up to 3 business days to complete
the process. Please note that for items in excess of $5000.00 payment
may only be made by Bank wire or check. (Bank clearing times for checks
which may take up to 30 days and may result in a delay in shipment or
delivery of your item).
